Lake Hospital System embarked on a monumental project to replace its old Lake East facility in Painesville, OH. In fact, this facility is the first new hospital to be built in the Cleveland area in decades.

Named for the three counties from which patients will come from: Lake, Ashtabula, and Geauga, TriPoint Medical Center offers a unique care experience. Built from the ground up to enhance healing and wellness and improve patient safety, TriPoint features the latest, life-saving technology in a patient- and family-centered environment. From the elegant interior filled with natural light and private patient rooms with views of natural greenery and streams, to the healing gardens and dedicated family areas, everything about TriPoint is designed to increase patient comfort and speed healing.

Lake Hospital System made every effort to use local contractors and subcontractors throughout this project. The Carpentry Division of Marous Brothers Construction was awarded the $5.3 million carpentry package through a hard-bid-by-invite process.

Our craftsmen and women installed all rough blocking, plastic laminate casework, plastic laminate and solid surface countertops, wood and plastic laminate paneling, doors frames and hardware, protective wall covering, corner guards, crash rails, accordion-folding fire doors, overhead-coiling doors, loading dock equipment, miscellaneous bath accessories, and a number of owner-supplied items.

With the completion of TriPoint Medical Center, a trip to the hospital may seem more like a trip to a resort.
