As part of their "Vision 2010" initiative, University Hospitals is building a brand new Cancer Hospital in University Circle of Cleveland, Ohio, which will triple the size of the current hospital. Marous Brothers Construction is already working as the Interior Finishes Contractor for the Ahuja Medical Center component of this initiative, and has been awarded the $9.8 million dollar carpentry package for this 350,000 plus sq. ft. project.

The scope of work for the Carpentry Division includes hanging doors and installing frames and hardware, custom casework, decorative millwork, and miscellaneous installations of automatic doors, wall protection, lockers, accordion doors, etc. Additionally, we have enlisted a subcontractor for a $1 million automatic window shade system installation.

After about 3 years of construction, the Case Medical Center Cancer Hospital will bring all facets of cancer care under one roof allowing the combination of the best technologies, most efficient protocols, and the latest findings to be readily accessible to patients.
