Courtesy of the government's Stimulus Plan, Cleveland Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is the recipient of $69 million for use in building new affordable housing units and renovating existing ones throughout the Cleveland metropolitan area. Vacant for the last 20 years, Woodhill Community Building is one of those structures benefiting from stimulus funds and will soon receive major renovations. Once complete, this 2-story gymnasium/multi-purpose building will boast educational spaces, office space, a new lobby and main entrance, new locker rooms, and all new mechanical, electrical
|
and plumbing systems. Over the existing roof patio, a new 3rd floor will be added to accommodate offices and other multi-functional spaces. Our self-performing divisions will be onsite making these renovations a reality. Our Site Division will be responsible for a new drive and significant re-grading along that drive and constructing a new parking area to accommodate guests to the building, whereas our Carpentry Division and Interior Finishes Division crews will be responsible for the addition and interior renovation to the building. |
