In 1998 Marous Brothers Construction was awarded $27 Million Project:The Arcade and Hyatt Hotel. The hotel was completed in 2001, and was the first Hyatt Hotel ever completed on time.
The Arcade was the first hotel, in the history of the Hyatt chain, to be completed on time and on budget, largely due to the project schedule control established by the self-performing divisions of Marous Brothers Construction. Completed in May of 2001, The Arcade now offers a luxury 293-room Hyatt Regency Hotel, the “1890 at the Arcade” and “Vivo” restaurants along with 52,000 square feet of first-class retail space. Unique elements, such as the 290-foot-long steel and glass skylight, which required a seven story scaffolding system to be erected, brass street lamps, Richardsonian Romanesque arched entrance and ornamental scrollwork details along with 40 sculpted griffin heads make The Arcade and unparalleled landmark.
