Marous Brothers Construction served as the General Contractor for Shoreway Lofts, a $10 million adaptive reuse project that transformed a 100-year-old industrial warehouse into 45 luxury apartments in Cleveland’s Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood. In partnership with Domokur Architects and developer The Grand C Corporation, the project preserved key historic elements—most notably the steel-framed windows—while integrating contemporary design and modern amenities. The renovation leveraged state and federal historic tax credits and maintained structural integrity despite proximity to Lake Erie. Today, the lofts offer a self-contained urban living experience, complete with a rooftop deck, fitness center, indoor parking, and street-level retail.
