In 2001 our Carpentry Group was awarded U.S. Federal Courthouse Contract, the largest millwork package in Cleveland’s history.

Marous Brothers Construction, an A.W.I. (American Woodworker’s Institute) certified installer, was selected to provide carpentry services for this GSA project, the largest millwork package awarded to-date in Cleveland’s history. The demanding project schedule, coupled with stringent quality and humidity control standards that governed the fabrication and installation of the African mahogany millwork, required the type of attention to detail that has become the hallmark of Marous Brothers Construction.

Our work included the fabrication and installation of judges’ benches, jury boxes, witness stands, clerk benches, lecterns, and attorney tables for each of twenty-one courtrooms. Additionally, we performed carpentry work outside of each courtroom in the public corridors, judges’ chambers, and in adjoining rooms on many of the structure’s floors that house thirteen District Courtrooms, six Magistrate Courtrooms, the Grand Jury Courtroom, and the Special Proceedings Courtroom.
