In 1997, the Beachwood Place Mall underwent an expansive renovation. Marous Brothers Construction was awarded two separate contracts within this renovation. The first carpentry contract involved the public area renovation where Marous Brothers Construction provided the installation of exterior roof plates, temporary enclosures, rough and finish millwork and doors, frames and hardware. Finish details included the installation of ceiling-hung arched panels of fabric and wood as well as installing custom wood lattice which, when finished, was suspended 60 feet over the third floor.
The second carpentry contract specifically targeted the millwork for the Nordstrom’s Café and Espresso Bar. Within both the Café and Espresso Bar, the scope of work included installing custom banquet seating with curving art walls, custom bars, wall/ceiling trim, and detailed custom cabinetry.
We started to work together when Chip and Scott were out in the field hanging doors. They’ve come a long way, because they’ve done the work themselves. They’re hands-on people, giving them the control that makes them good at what they do. If you need a builder to rely on, they’re the one.
