As Ohio CAT has continued to expand their operations to accommodate the rapidly growing oil and gas exploration and drilling industry in Ohio, they once again turned to the Design/Build Group at Marous Brothers Construction. Our in-house design team worked closely with Ohio CAT to plan, program, and implement a 55,000 sf addition to their existing rental facility, creating a six acre campus that provides sales, service, parts distribution, administrative office, and heavy equipment rental.
We incorporated a number of sustainable design features into the new single-story construction, including high efficiency LED lighting, a super- insulated TPO membrane roof system, bio-swales and on-site storm water collection and management systems, as well as a natural daylighting strategy using 36 insulated skylights throughout the facility. We also incorporated an innovative waste oil collection system that safely collects and stores used petro-based fluids for environmentally-conscious re-use and/or disposal.
We started to work together when Chip and Scott were out in the field hanging doors. They’ve come a long way, because they’ve done the work themselves. They’re hands-on people, giving them the control that makes them good at what they do. If you need a builder to rely on, they’re the one.

The great thing about working with Marous is how professionally and how well they address problems. Always with our best interests at heart…
Marous Brothers Construction understands the importance of seeking cooperation between the city, the community, and themselves so that everyone associated with a project can benefit. They have consistently demonstrated an eagerness to comply with minority employment requirements, even though it may not have always been easy.
