The famous West Side Market received a much-deserved face lift with the help of our Site Group. The City of Cleveland invested $5 million to update the outdoor market and surrounding parking lot and that is where Marous Brothers Construction fits in. Our Site Group demolished the old Hick’s Parking Lot on West 24th Street across from the market, and removed an old, 7 ft. high wall that has separated the parking lot from the market. Work on the 75,000 sq. ft. parking lot included lowering the existing grade by two feet, complete asphalt resurfacing, and the installation of storm sewers and catch basins was only a small part of the renovations that took place at the West Side Market.
Work on West 24th Street and West 25th Street sides also included streetscaping and new curb installation.
We started to work together when Chip and Scott were out in the field hanging doors. They’ve come a long way, because they’ve done the work themselves. They’re hands-on people, giving them the control that makes them good at what they do. If you need a builder to rely on, they’re the one.

The great thing about working with Marous is how professionally and how well they address problems. Always with our best interests at heart…
Marous Brothers Construction understands the importance of seeking cooperation between the city, the community, and themselves so that everyone associated with a project can benefit. They have consistently demonstrated an eagerness to comply with minority employment requirements, even though it may not have always been easy.
