Marous Brothers Construction led the Design-Build delivery of the Columbus Avenue Revitalization, transforming a 53,000-square-foot block into a vibrant mixed-use development. The project included 21,600 square feet for the new Sandusky City Hall, 8,500 square feet of retail space, and 21,200 square feet for 18 market-rate apartments. Working within the Department of the Interior’s historic preservation guidelines, the team stabilized and restored the Whitworth, Kingsbury, and Commercial Banking & Trust Co. buildings. The 16-month effort, supported by federal and state historic tax credits and city financing, reactivated a key downtown corridor and now serves as a model for public-private revitalization.
