Phase I focused on renovating the long-term care and acute rehabilitation patient rooms, while Phase II involved the construction of a new entry vestibule addition and the creation of a modern “Bistro” for the facility. The project was carefully planned to allow the facility to remain operational, with work conducted on a rotating basis to minimize disruption. Special attention was paid to coordinating deliveries, work hours, and maintaining cleanliness to support the smooth functioning of the facility. The project was completed over a six-month duration, during which we self-performed the sitework, carpentry, and interior finishes. Our team played an integral role in the execution of both phases, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining close coordination with the facility staff to address traffic flow and minimize disturbances. The new additions, including the entry vestibule with curtain wall and curved roof elements, as well as the new Bistro, were completed on schedule with dust and noise mitigation measures in place, providing a seamless experience for both residents and staff.
