Marous Brothers Construction partnered with TDA Architecture to deliver a $2.6 million design-assist renovation for MC2 STEM High School, creating 14 classrooms, computer labs, multipurpose rooms, and locker areas within a loft-style academic setting. The project was completed on a fast-track, three-month schedule and featured exposed mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems to reinforce the school’s educational mission. Our team self-performed concrete, carpentry, and interior finishes while incorporating sustainable design practices. Students experienced the construction process first-hand through scheduled tours, enhancing the connection between their studies and real-world applications. This pioneering project earned LEED Certification and the 2009 Green Building of America Award for Real Estate & Construction Review.
