The most significant project, a $24 million expansion of the Broadview Heights Headquarters, more than doubled the size of their corporate office, training, and meeting facilities. The project involved multiple additions to unify the facility’s exterior and extensive interior renovations, enhancing energy performance through sustainable design features. As the franchisee for Caterpillar Equipment Company in Ohio and Northern Kentucky, Ohio CAT’s headquarters serves as a hub for their operations in the construction, mining, and oil/gas industries. The campus’ design prioritized technological efficiency to support the company’s rapid growth over the past decade. Marous Brothers Construction, a trusted partner for over 20 years, was chosen for the expansion, which was executed in three phases: a 6,500 square foot addition, a two-story 34,000 square foot addition, and a 7,200 square foot four-bay service building. This brings the total building footprint to over 100,000 square feet. Located in a transitional area, the headquarters showcases Caterpillar machinery at its entrance, reflecting the company’s pride. The new design combined renovations and expansions while still maintaining operations during construction. With a focus on high-quality materials and functionality, the updated headquarters now offers state-of-the-art amenities, enabling Ohio CAT to enhance its business success in a world-class environment.
