Marous Brothers Construction’s Special Projects Group delivered a 54,300-square-foot addition to the Slovene Home for the Aged, seamlessly connecting to the existing facility at three separate locations. The expansion introduced 68 new resident rooms, a physical therapy department, and two dining/activity rooms to better serve the community’s growing needs. To prepare the site, our team demolished a former structure and parking lot, performed grading, and poured new concrete foundations through the work of our in-house Site Group. Additional scopes included construction of block walls, precast plank flooring, metal stud framing, brick veneer, wood trusses, a new elevator, and complete interior finishes—ensuring a cohesive and functional extension to the elder care facility.
