Marous Brothers Construction served as the Design-Builder for The Westin Cleveland, a $46 million revitalization of the former Crowne Plaza (originally Bond Court Hotel) into a 510,000-square-foot, 22-story luxury hotel. In partnership with Sage Hospitality and Optima Ventures, our team managed every phase of the project—from due diligence and infrastructure assessment to full renovation of 484 guest rooms, public spaces, and a grand ballroom accommodating up to 2,000 guests. Key upgrades included façade improvements, HVAC and fire safety system modernization, new elevators, and comprehensive interior renovations. Common areas and rooms were fully refreshed with new finishes, lighting, and technology enhancements. Notable additions included the Urban Farmer restaurant, a full-service Starbucks, and Cleveland’s largest hotel fitness center. Our team worked alongside McCartan of New York on interior design and LAND Studio on artwork curation, delivering a hospitality experience that balances elevated design with local identity.
