Marous Brothers Construction completed the rehabilitation of the Lorain Diked Disposal Pier, revitalizing a key lakefront asset with enhanced public access and marina improvements. The project included upgrades to the pier promenade, featuring replacement of utility cover decking, installation of new pavers, lighting enhancements, and expansion of adjacent parking areas. Additional work supported the creation of public open space, including new bike and walking trails integrated into the surrounding waterfront. Construction was carefully coordinated within an active marina environment, requiring detailed planning to maintain ongoing operations throughout the project. The work also aligned with a concurrent dredging effort at an adjacent disposal site, necessitating coordination with multiple agencies and stakeholders. The completed project delivers a revitalized waterfront destination that supports recreation, infrastructure performance, and long‑term community use.
