Marous Brothers Construction’s Carpentry and Interior Finishes Group was selected by Gilbane Building Company to provide subcontracted services for The Lumen at Playhouse Square, a 34-story luxury apartment tower in the heart of Cleveland’s theater district. With a $6 million scope of work, our team furnished and installed doors, frames, hardware, and kitchen cabinetry across 319 residential units—along with high-end millwork and finish details throughout the building’s 30,000 square feet of amenity space. Highlights included coffered ceiling panels in the grand lobby, custom built-ins, porcelain slab wall accents, specialty woodwork, and rooftop IPE hardwood installations. Completed in 2020, The Lumen showcases superb craftsmanship and elegance in one of the most ambitious residential builds Cleveland has seen in over four decades.
