Groundbreaking Ceremony - The Hitchcock Center for Women

Marous Brothers Construction was honored to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for The Hitchcock Center for Women’s new 77,000 square foot residential treatment and recovery facility in Cleveland’s Hough-Glenville neighborhood as the project’s Design/Builder!

This $27 million project, developed in partnership with The Finch Group, represents a significant expansion for the Hitchcock Center for Women. It will allow the center to double the number of mothers served annually with the construction of:

• 12 therapist consultation offices
• A full-service kitchen and dining room
• 42 residential treatment beds
• 53 fully furnished permanent housing units

This undertaking epitomizes collaboration, underscored by the attendance of numerous state and local government officials, healthcare and federal partners, community organizations, board members, and engaged neighborhood residents.

When complete, this new facility will enable the organization to continue its mission of empowering women through comprehensive recovery services while doubling its capacity and providing much-needed safe and affordable housing to an underserved area of Cleveland.
