Garrett Square Ribbon Cutting
July 24, 2025
Marous Brothers Construction was honored to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Garrett Square project.

We’re excited to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of Garrett Square Senior Apartments, a 49-unit community for residents 55+ in Glenville neighborhood. Developed in partnership with Volker Development and constructed by our Muti-Family Housing Group, this project reflects our commitment to building vibrant, inclusive spaces that support independent senior living.
Doug Hart, GM of MFH, joined community leaders, partners, and residents to mark this milestone. Garrett Square features beautifully finished common areas, a fitness center with senior-specific equipment, a community room, laundry on every floor, and secure parking. Residents also benefit from supportive services through partnerships with St. Martin De Porres Senior Center and Catholic Charities.
Located near University Circle, the community offers easy access to public transit, shopping, and daily outings via Famicos Foundation’s senior bus. Special thanks to Volker Development, Famicos Foundation, Councilwomen Yvonne Conwell, Councilman Kevin Conwell, and all civic leaders who helped bring this vision to life.
Garrett Square strengthens the Glenville neighborhood by providing safe, affordable housing for seniors and supporting independent living. It enhances access to wellness services, social opportunities, and transit—helping residents stay active and connected while contributing to the area’s ongoing revitalization.
