Project Spotlight: Garrett Square Senior Apartments
We’re thrilled to highlight our progress on Garrett Square Senior Apartments, a four-story new construction project in Cleveland’s Glenville neighborhood. Constructed by our Multi-Family Housing Group for Völker, this project will bring much-needed affordable housing to seniors aged 55 and older.
Project Overview:
Once complete, Garrett Square will offer 49 affordable housing units in an underserved market, providing residents with easier access to public transit.
The FAMICOS FOUNDATION will manage the property, offering supportive services to enhance resident autonomy, independence, and quality of life. And through a partnership with the St. Martin De Porres Senior Center and the Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland, residents will also have access to additional much-needed health, wellness, and socialization services.
Project Financing:
Thanks to KeyBank Community Development Lending and Investment’s $11.3 million investment, alongside support from the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, the City of Cleveland American Rescue Plan Act, City Home, and the Cuyahoga County ERA fund, this project is paving the way for revitalization in Glenville.
Stay tuned as we continue to help build a brighter future for Glenville’s senior community!
