Hitchcock Center for Women – Progress Update
March 18, 2025
Significant construction progress has been made over the winter months as our team works toward substantial completion in July 2025.
About the Project
Hitchcock Center for Women is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment and supportive services for women struggling with substance use disorders. Our Design-Build Group is leading the construction of their new Supportive Housing & Residential Treatment Center in Cleveland, Ohio. This transformative project will provide critical supportive housing and treatment services to women and their children, expanding the organization’s capacity to offer long-term recovery solutions in a safe and stable environment.
The new 77,000-square-foot facility will enhance Hitchcock’s ability to provide holistic, family-centered treatment, helping women overcome addiction while ensuring that their children remain in their care. The design of the center supports a continuum of care, incorporating both residential treatment and permanent supportive housing to help individuals transition successfully toward independent living.

Next Steps
Through February and into March, the self-performing Carpentry & Interior Finishes Group from Marous Brothers Construction has focused on drying in the Residential Treatment Center—sealing the building envelope—so interior finishes can begin. As exterior work progresses, site development and finishing touches on interior spaces will continue in preparation for opening later this year.
