When General Motors introduced new aesthetic standards for Cadillac dealerships nationwide, Classic Auto Group selected Marous Brothers Construction to perform the re-branding renovations to its flagship Cadillac dealership on its Mentor, Ohio campus. The dealership needed to remain functional during the entire 5-month project duration, requiring our team to work with Classic ownership and staff to develop a sophisticated staging plan for both interior and exterior renovations that would result in no interruption to ongoing business operations.
The scope of work for the exterior modifications was quite involved. To maximize accessibility and visibility, the decision was made to relocate the main showroom entrance as part of the project. Once the entire existing façade had been removed, our crews made quick work of installing a new storefront system framed on all sides by custom limestone panels. The panels were installed using a specially constructed steel framework. New replacement overhead doors were also installed at the service bays, and a new ADA compliant concrete ramp was constructed to access the new showroom entrance.
On the showroom interior, all new interior finishes were installed. New ceramic tile at floor level, new wall surface treatments and color palettes, updated lighting and the entire ceiling system was removed and replaced to elevate the space for complete customer experience in conformance with the new Cadillac brand standards. This $1.2 million renovation marked the sixth project that Marous Brothers Construction has completed on the Classic Auto Group campus for our valued client!
